Anyways, yes I'm still alive and doing quite well. A new semester started about a month ago and I am enjoying so much more than last semester, mostly because I have more art classes and that I am done with Physics for the rest of my life (hallelujah!). My school is still being lame and blocking devArt, but due to the a life drawing class I'm taking, I'm at coffeshops more often now, so I have access to the site, so I'll try to upload some of my newer stuff and also comment on everyone's stuff. Woot.
Artwork-wise, animation and life drawing have been consuming most of my time, though I have been trying to draw in my personal/ideas sketchbook more often since I've been neglecting it. I'm also building a huge Chinese dragon head for a performance that my hall is doing which has been fun, I love building things.
Lastly, I came across this awesome podcast which I think anyone who is at least remotely interested in animation should definitely listen to. It's called the Animation Podcast. Current disney animator, Clay Kaytis runs the show and has interviewed a great number of animators already such as Andreas Deja, Glen Keane, and James Baxter. All the shows are free and I must say, Clay has one of the most relaxing voices ever to listen to. So check those out!
